OKRIKA 1

Brief History

 

 

Okrika 1 Section was created in 1977 with Headquarters at A.T.C. Road.  The late Rev. D.F Ibulubo was the pioneer Sectional Leader.  Other Sectional Leaders after him were:  Revds. S.T. Omuku, Joseph Peterside, Late Rev. Onu Omini, Dr. C.U. Sampson, Nwagbai Silas, I.M. Braide (Jnr), I.D. Abraham, Mark Ubulom and Nyeche Ibekwe

 

The Section consists of fourteen (14) churches namely: ATC Rd, Ogoloma 1, Ogoloma 2, Ogoloma3, Egelebie, Egweme-Biri, Ogbogbo, Kalio, George, Tomo-Biri, Abam, Oba, Ibaka, Cream-Ama.

 

The current Sectional Leader is Rev. ThankGod  T. Wellington. He is married to Rev. Mrs. Alice ThankGod Wellington, and blessed with a child.

Ibaka church was opened July 2017, and Ngeme-Biri church was planted in April 2018.
